Interactive Marketing Account Manager
ClearGauge, a leading provider of Business to Business online marketing services located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, is looking to add an Interactive Marketing Account Manager to our team. The Interactive Marketing Account Manager serves as the primary business contact for our clients. Their mission is to ensure client satisfaction through consistently providing excellent customer service. They need to be strategic and employ a “hands–on” professional work style. They will stay abreast of changes in the industry and they will be the client’s advocate to the internal ClearGauge organization. They will also work with the client to grow the ClearGauge business relationship.
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3+ years progressive account management or other direct client facing experience in integrated marketing; direct marketing, direct email marketing, business consulting, or an interactive marketing agency. Experience in software, healthcare, and/or business services industry is a strong plus.
- 2+ years of search engine marketing (search engine optimization and/or paid search) experience. Ability to interpret and present website and user activity performance statistics and provide specific recommendations for improvement. Experience working with and interpreting large amounts of data a plus.
- 2+ years of results–driven business to business industry expertise with a strong understanding of Internet trends and technologies.
- Consultative Selling Skills – Proven track record of identifying and closing sales opportunities within existing accounts and an ability to create and give winning presentations.
- Strategic Consultant – Proven strategic and analytical insight to identify and solve business, marketing and technology issues. Outstanding client communication skills. Ability to seek out necessary resources to exceed client expectations.
- Project Management – Manage multi–phase/multi–dimensional/multi–resource projects while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Demonstrate proven organizational and planning skills, must be detail oriented, have strong presentation and project management skills and excellent communication skills. Must have proven competency managing projects within both budget and timeline constraints. Experience with OpenAir project management system a plus.
- Customer Service – Proven track record in a client–service environment including exposure to clients and ability to lead project teams.
- Leadership/Team Player – Outstanding ability to lead, convince and inspire in a client–service environment; superior listening, interviewing, meeting facilitation and writing skills.
- Thorough knowledge of standard MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. A working knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM packages is a plus. Must be collaborative with a direct communication style for client advocacy.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four–year accredited university is required. A master’s degree in business administration or an advanced degree in integrated marketing would be a plus.

Web Analytst

Requirements for Web Analyst:
- 4 year college degree required, with a concentration or strong background in a quantitative discipline. A degree or proven competency in computer science, computer engineering, math, or statistics is a plus.
- Minimum of two years working with web analytics packages such as WebTrends, Omniture, Hitbox, ClickTracks, Coremetrics, or Google Analytics/Urchin. Must possess the ability to implement a web analytics system.
- Minimum of two years work experience in a fast–paced environment, preferably in a professional services or consulting firm.
- Strong technical background with experience in JavaScript and HTML.
- Strong Microsoft Office experience and skills. Must have considerable experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to understand client goals and translate them into key performance indicators (KPIs) and effectively codify and measure performance against the KPIs in customized reporting solutions.
- Ability to generate and analyze weekly and monthly reports using website activity data from a number of analytical packages and other data sources.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and manage work to be completely in line with client deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors in a team oriented, highly collaborative and fast–paced environment.
- Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills are a must.
- SEO, paid search experience and/or a good understanding of the principles behind them would be a strong plus.
- Experience and skills with xCelsius or Crystal Reports would be a plus.
Web Analyst Job description:
- Work closely with clients and account management to effectively understand client goals and KPIs
- Work closely with Client Solutions colleagues on implementing and managing installations of various web analytics packages for multiple clients
- Perform weekly and monthly reporting/analysis on site activity and campaign/SEO data
- Work with account management to effectively understand and service client needs
- Stay current with the rapidly changing web analytics and SEO marketplace
- Help to manage and coordinate outsourcing relationships.
